I guess even Elon has his limit
  • Yeah something that could easily be taken as inciting a murder, is actually not legal under our free speech laws, so... Yeah, he has no choice in the matter.

I guess even Elon has his limit
  • Everyone knows that if someone threatened one of the stooges behind this tweet they would absolutely be crying to the website, and police, about it.

  • That sucks. I pretty much have the opposite issue. I don't feel anxiety, don't really understand it. Just know some of the people i know get anxiety attacks that are bad to the point they mimic heart attacks. Fucked up shit.

Aldi announces wage increases up to $23 an hour; hiring thousands of employees
  • Great, now that they have bought winn-dixie, and are moving in places, mostly, where there are failed/failing regional chains, we will have even less competition.

Remember, despite saying Aldi does not discriminate based on union/desire to unionize, A LOT of their ex-management say they were straight up told to fire anyone who mentions it, and they would rather get sued for it, than allow it.

Colorado teen shot in the face by town councilman after going to home to ask permission to take homecoming photos
  • Yeah, grandmother grew up in a family that had been poor farmers outwest, and midwest for a long time. They had like 10 guns, but that is because there was one rifle per person over the age of 12, plus a couple shotguns. Not for like having a shoot-out, but for killing problematic predators. Only my great grandfather had a hand gun, and he only had that because it was a gift from someone he did a bunch of work for. He rarely took it out of the box.

MAGA is straight up losing it after Taylor Swift’s Harris endorsement
  • Her posting that link got something like 400k people to register to vote. That is not insignificant. I hate the news always discussing celebrity opinions on politics. However, this specific time, something happened that can actually have an impact. So we shall see.

  • In the US, when a building is built into a hill, or mountain side, like that, all the floors are numbered 1 through whatever, and then there will be labels to where the the floors, with exits, let you out.
