Die medizinische Wirkung von Alkohol lässt sich wohlwollend als eher begrenzt beschreiben während diverse cannabidiole, auch THC, sehr wohl medizinisch benutzt werden. Präparate wie von dir beschrieben lassen sich nochmals gezielter nutzen. Das schließt jedoch nicht aus das beispielweise Schmerzpatienten ihre Cannabis verdampfen, also auch so zu sich nehmen wie gewöhnliche Konsumenten. Du musst mir sicher nicht glauben, high wird man nach längerem Konsum ein gleichbleibender Dosis jedoch nicht mehr. Eine Arbeitsunfähigkeit wie sie bei Alkohol stets bleibt ist also nicht gegeben. Der Vergleich ist also eher ungünstig aber wir haben hier in Deutschland auch eine seltsame Schutzhaltung unserem beliebtesten Gift ggü.

I think we would have an easier time if we would start to have different words for people being attracted to children and for people raping children. That way we could say MJ was attracted to children in a concerning way but it is apparent that he did not abuse children sexually.

Könnte es daran liegen das man die Proteste illegitmisieren möchte? Das erinnert mich ein wenig an Versuche andere Bürgerbewegungen der Vergangenheit in den Dreck zu ziehen weil es auch schlechte Akteure gibt. Siehe Bewegung für die Recht der Schwarzen, siehe die Bewegung für Frauenrechte, siehe die Bewegung für die Rechte von Homosexuellen und spätere Queere. Es ist immer das gleiche Schema: "Guck mal, da gibt es böse Menschen, also muss der gesamte Protest falsch sein". Sehr bequem, da man sich so keinen unangenehmen Fragen stellen muss. Andererseits sehr enttäuschend das es bei einem recht linken Magazin geschieht.
