Doesn’t this seem morally flawed? You moderate a sub, but don’t want to do it anymore and you can’t stand the thought of someone else doing it so you want to just ruin and destroy it? That sounds awful. No, the sub doesn’t belong to you and it doesn’t belong to Reddit either. It belongs to the members because they’re the community. I can’t even comprehend why you feel like it’s something that belongs to you. You moderate as a service to that community, not because you own it. When a pastor retires, they don’t burn down the church they preached in. That church belongs to the people and the pastor was its servant, not its owner.
Wow that’s wildly wrong. This is absolutely a new and terrifying situation unlike any other presidency in us history.
I actually think that’s exactly what you’re doing. I’m not saying what this guy did with an old projector and lcd screen is practical, but it is interesting and pretty creative. One things for sure though, he didn’t just create a projector using an old projector
I didn’t know that, but it makes sense. I like it
Not at all. A dlp projector doesn’t use an lcd panel to project an image, it’s completely different technology. You may be thinking of lcd projection, but either way you’re wrong.
It’s not a projector. It’s an lcd tv screen backlit by a projector. The tv lcd is still what produces the image
It was fucking insane. Vote this guy mvp, please
Miyamoto created Zelda to fulfill a childhood fantasy of being a hero wandering the woods, going on adventures, collecting treasures, and rescuing a princess. It was intended to allow every player to be able to experience and fulfill that same fantasy. As a lifelong Zelda player, I’ve always felt that I become link and embody that hero that we dream of while playing in our backyards. I think that’s why link never had dialogue. He’s not a character, he’s us. I think it’s also why the franchise has always been titled Zelda, not link (for the most part). To give him a voice, and a character that we the player isn’t in control of, destroys that gift of fantasy embodiment that Miyamoto gave to us. Link instead becomes a super hero lost to a world saturated by marvel characters
A Zelda movie goes against the core concept of Zelda games
You’re wrong
You must not know how to drive a manual. When you know how to drive one, you don’t think about it. You just do it. You feel connected to the car and connected to the act of driving. Automatics absolutely allow people to go on autopilot and they focus on anything but driving: stuffing their face with food, browsing lemmy, texting, talking on their phone on speaker while holding it up to their mouth for some fucking reason even though it would be easier and better sound quality to just hold it up to their ear like phones were designed to be used, or you know, just use the fucking hands free phone calling that’s built into every fucking car that was made in the last decade and a half and included in every cheap ass aftermarket stereo system available on the planet
Where’s Uranus? That’s what I wanna know
What exactly is your point in regards to this article?
What? Please explain what the hell you mean by this
What do you think investing less than $200 is going to earn you?
Fuck Idaho. Lots of Nazis there. Lots of meth. Very little brain.
I got permabanned for reporting hateful comments on a r/conservative post that was glorifying Nazis a few weeks ago. No warning. Been on Reddit for over a decade without causing any problems. Sounds like Reddit as a corporation has picked a side
If you’re going to sit on a fence, what’s the point in doing it on a public forum? What does that do?
I’m not choosing to debate anything. I’m just saying it’s champing, not chomping. No debate. I agree with you otherwise
No, words mean something. Either use it correctly because you know what it means, or don’t use the saying at all. Use a different phrase.
