I am trying to kick Reddit, I get a lot of my Saskatchewan news from there and I am in a lot of groups so I can scroll and see things. What are some groups I can join here that are a good idea?
I was amazed that no one else even got into the double digits.

youTube_ads_4_pi-hole does a fairly good job with my limited testing, I am waiting for my premium subscription to run out in November but when I was not logged in it seemed to do a good job. Not 100% but it does a good job, in again my limited testing.
This I came here to say this, and you can adjust things like the vinegars you use (which can be picked out or made by yourself). The different spice blends you use (they can be made or even better grown by yourself). The the different tomatoes you use (which can be picked out or grown by yourself).

I have a pihole with the ability to block youtube ads fairly well, once my premium subscription is up, in November (I got it because I believed I was actually paying the content creators better with it), I am going to be blocking youtube ads.
Saskatchewan’s DUI hire recently posted on X about how he is petitioning the government of Canada to ban the swastika. The Moe-ron is running the province of Saskatchewan in slow-Moe but really using X to say “hey let us ban an Asian religious symbol,” is a bad idea. If it was solely a nazi thing sure ban it but saying ban it full stop on X is a little counter productive.

I do not want to wish harm on to a fellow Canadian, but the sooner a Canadian is deported the better. It would really hurt the tourism industry, I doubt they would be sent to Guantanamo however.
I just did a thing
I just went on a big letter writing campaign to get politicians and the media to stop using X, I also made complaints with a few agencies to get the use of X by elected officials investigated by a few agencies. Hopefully with any luck we can see some change coming soon.
If you would like to put pressure on the elected officials I strongly encourage you do it; a few tips try your hardest to keep it to one page or less, address it, attach a pdf to the email saying what you said, and send it to all the elected officials. I have all the MP and Senator emails, and all the Saskatchewan emails if you need them.
I finnally deleted my Amazon account and email!
Amazon is officially dead to me, I had uninstalled all the apps a little while ago and deleted my email address today. It however hit me that I had not signed out of the webpage, so instead of just signing out I deleted my account and wow did it feel good saying I have issues with amazon when deleting the account and being signed out.

I am transferring all of my email address; a few years back it took me months to figure out what was all going to my gmail account that was used signing up for stuff even though there was some web app I used, I was going to move away from the Google as much as possible, minus search and YouTube. Several months ago I moved away from Google search, and was stuck with YouTube as there is no real competition to it, that my favourite channels use, so I am stuck with it.
So iCloud’s hide my email was the replacement for Gmail, it was a lot easier to cancel junk mail by being able to just turn off email addresses that started spamming me. Come now to the buy Canadian stuff I am turning off all my hide my email addresses and moving some to proton pass, most of the emails so far I can just delete but many I have to go to the webpage and change the address. It is hard work and I have given myself a deadline of the end of the month when my iCloud subscription is done and dusted. Only 152 email

I have a blog, it is mostly for me to scream into the void, I would like to believe people read it I am however fine if they do not. Since the buy Canadian stuff started happening I moved where my hosting service was, away from Wordpress.com and to hosthero.com then I moved reannlegge.com to reannlegge.ca.
The actual blog has not yet been transferred yet but I now own reannlegge.ca!
I am moving away from my apple services and to another service, unfortunately no Canadian one offered the features I wanted, or at least none that I could find so that has been moved to a service outside of the US.

No poop he is not accurate with “facts!” When has that ever stopped Trump, he bankrupt a casino he owned! But now Moe is telling us to not try to ‘Stick it” to Trump, what I hear Moe saying is “would you like your Willy sucked before or after you stick it up my backside?” Moe needs to go and find a new job.
TV service
So I had a TV service I rarely used, I kept it just cause I did occasionally use it to watch sports or whatever that were not easily accessible online. I was not using it much but it was worked into my budget non the less, last night when I was thinking about how I consume TV shows; I first realized I was paying YouTube (I bought an annual subscription that ends at the end of March) to watch the monologue of some late night TV shows, I thought about it and realized the Google was paying those channels for me to watch some of the show so I am going to mark them to not be suggested to me via YouTube anymore and watch them via Canadian channel apps. I then thought about giving up on them all together, I do not know if I am ready to do that yet but I am seriously considering that whaat do others think?

Learning how to use this
So I am trying to go gopher wild on my Buy Canadian journey, I have blocked all of the social media coming from the US minus Reddit as I find Reddit as a good place to talk to like minded people however using Reddit I am paying a US company via my eyeballs. I would never click on a Reddit ad, even if I did I am sure my ad blocking technology (pi-hole) would block it they are still making money from me seeing it.
