  • Kill the Justice League, it's art style and world is pretty attractive. Walking around the Hall of Justice, the details in various neighborhoods, it's a nerd's dream. I'm sure the art book is gorgeous.

Once you throw in the gameplay and all the special effects, it's kind of a bore.

  • This is pretty impressive work.

This also means that, in theory, any Xbox 360 game should now be fully Recompilable for native PC port goodness, including those unsupported by modern Xbox Backward Compatibility, effectively freeing several games from the graveyard — and opening the doors of modding wider than ever.

Sure, it might hit some legal obstacles for a time. But right now on Steam, there are companies releasing emulated versions of their classic games. I hope in a few years, this work turns into legal versions on Steam.

  • I'm one of those people. I played New World recently. It's a great game to turn off your brain, chop wood, and occasionally be a hero a bit so you can chop more wood.

Also, MMOs and always being online just isn't my thing anymore. Group raiding, climbing the power ladder, killing the big bad?

No thanks I just want to chop wood and decorate my house.

Answering GDC's 2023 survey, 78% of respondents said they considered the harassment and toxicity developers receive from the public to be a serious issue. A simple sentiment is often the most effective, and the title of Dragon Age veteran Mark Darrah's latest video cuts right to the heart of it: "Your $70 doesn't buy you cruelty."

You don't have to like a game, and you don't have stay quiet if you have complaints, says Darrah. You're entitled to be angry, and you're entitled to express that anger. "If you are mad at that Ubisoft game, be mad at Ubisoft," he says. "Express your anger to Ubisoft or the studio that made the game. But you cross a line when you start being cruel about it." (Thanks, PC Gamer and GamesRadar)
