But you interact with us. By "your instance of your user" i mean the copy of your profile on our server.
We enforce the TOS equally between local users and the instances of federated users that got federated to us.
I mean its difficult and you need to repeat some steps. But i think just the look and feel is pretty nice. I think it was a decent / good game.
I mean if you dont like puzzles i think this game is not fit for you.

If you dont interact at all then of course not. We do this for the safety of our service, as any other server does ( as their server rules apply to federated content / users too ).

Yeah in the terms of Bullshitification, firefox is still far of any chromium stuff.
I will never forget what brave did with their crypto sh*t in their browser.
I still use firefox ( and any fork of it ) rather than use any differently coloured chromium ( including brave, their ceo does not have a good reputation too )
I would guess if you want direct contact with mods of such communities, i recommend you the lemmy.world moderation discord. I can send you a invite over dm.
Its ok you made it here, but i personally would have done it in a news community ( in cooperation with the mods ) a pinned post about their experience or thoughts on this process.
Because there will be less interaction here as this community is used when something broke, needs help ( related to Lemmy.world ).
You would have a lot more interaction speaking directly to users of such communities that are focused on news.

We already tried on making a "Bias fact check Bot aggregator" but it got.... i would say best case not welcomed. Because some people were offended that their favorite News outlet got not favorable rating in one of the aggregated sources.

It got already shut down. So no more MBFC fact checking.
This happens when CSS isnt loaded correctly for example when you just lost internet during loading or have adblocker block the css fetching, so a simple refresh should fix that. Of course it doesnt let you because the real validation is done in the backend.

We had never the intention to drop the website. We do not profit at all ( only if you "profit" from online shame and harassment ). I even donate myself to the platform and ocasionally to other open source federated software.
We all are human and arent perfect and cant track everything and all things. Lemmy devs ocasionally ignore us because "big instance bad" and the instability in their recent releases and lack of testing LW is 5 or 6 versions now back? Because we dont want to rush and if we make a wrong step with upgrading it causes a blackout on lemmy. Additionally we have some tweaks that we want to backport when we upgrade, that moderation doesnt get hurt by upgrading.
Like said if the instance has basic autmation at least 1 is doable.
In the case of "DMs on removal of a post / comment" it is possible to do that with the current api of lemmy. But sadly nothing "official" yet. And it wont come anytime soon as lemmy devs officially announced they wont work at any moderation related topics for a while.

To this end, we've created a media bias bot, which we hope will keep everyone informed about WHO, not just the WHAT of posted articles. This bot uses Media Bias/Fact Check to add a simple reply to show bias. We feel this is especially important with the US Election coming up. The bot will also provide links to Ground.News, as well, which we feel is a great source to determine the WHOLE coverage of a given article and/or topic.
As always feedback is welcome, as this is a active project which we really hope will benefit the community.

First days impression.

i swapped to Pop!_os 2 days ago ( from linux mint, because i wanted some change and found pop_os ) and i like it!
I have just few points that i would like to share:
- That the displays scaling cant be changed per monitor untilthe activation of "Fractial Scaling" ( just as a beginner "weird" behaviour )
- You cant disable / make the "Active window" border smaller.
- You cant hide the top bar ( but thats acceptable as it hides itself if you are in full screen )
- Customizability/Lack of keybinds ( for example move active window to Screen 1,2,3 with Super + 1,2,3,4 )
- (The pop_store lags? sometimes if i search? idk if its just a known bug or if its something on my side?) )
But its still very good and it has some cool features and simple installation!

I am pretty new to linux ( almost 2 months PURE linux mint ) and i still find cool software ( like lazydocker, lazygit, zsh... ) but i feel like there are 100k more interesting software to have ;D

Halloween Event is LIVE!
Hello everybody!
As announced in the last weekly update we are proud to open the doors to the event area of this years halloween building contest!
In spawn you will see a portal (to hell) where you get teleported to the event area. There you can see more informations and the area where you can build.
Everybody gets some starting coins. ( 400 credits ) So that you dont go empty out of it if you have claimed something during the event. To claim those ask a mod or admin.

Even if its illegal to spawn camp you should not cry around for every single small problem. If he keeps 24/7 spawn camping, please report him.
Just use /rtp, it will send you somewhere in the wilderness.

The Server is full
Yeah as we dont have a threadripper on the server we limit the ammount of users to a maximum 30. If we see a steady full server we will look into upgrading. But for now 30 should be enough!

The Rules build upon the official Lemmy.world rules.
Additionally Minecraft Rules:
PVP related:
- PVP is enabled BUT should be the last resort.
- PVP has to be with mutual consent!
- Spawn Camping is not allowed!
- Trapping People is NOT allowed!
- If you fight, keep others out of it. ( Dont kill inocent people )
- If you want war. It has to be with mutual consent.
Building related:
- Griefing is not allowed.
- But if you build anything unprotected its your issue, not ours.
( You can claim spots it with a wooden hoe ) - Trapping claims/users is not allowed.
- Abusing the claim system will result in a ban
- If you dont use your claimed spots it will get force abandoned by admins.
Other:
- Trading is not secured in any way. Create yourself a trading station or just "trust" each other.

We've launced a public discord server at https://discord.gg/lemmyworld
The reason for why we choose discord is because it was easier to moderate and manage than other options. Besides we also had a discord-bot guru by the name of Rooki who created a neat bot that allowed us to connect/verify discord users to their Lemmy World account.
So if you are a moderator and you are looking for some extra hands to moderate your community, or if you need to contact anyone from the LW team, this is the most efficient way to do it!
