If you could play one game for the first time all over again, what would it be?
  • It's funny that you say that because my first playthrough was when the prices had dropped on Steam (a couple years after release). So the hype was gone for me. Its probably a big reason I enjoyed it so much

Is THIS My New Home Server? - Steam Deck Server Guide
  • It seems like more of a "fun project". I wouldn't waste the resources, but I have servers already. I could see this as a great way to try out self-hosting if you haven't before. As long as you don't remove SteamOS (in the video, he kept both) then, it's not hurting anything.

What is your record for number of hours on a single game?
  • I wish I had my Minecraft hours. I've been playing since Beta on PC across many PCs. I bought it on Xbox 360, separately for Xbox One, and Android. I think I would compete with some of the WOW players here tbh..

AMD announces Radeon RX 7800 XT and 7700 XT, starting at $449
  • I use an AMD GPU and I stream to my Quest 2 a lot. I've only had one app have issues ever. It was Google Earth VR which I understand that they quit developing. I have never noticed latency either..

On this day in 1991, Linus Torvalds announced he was working on what would become Linux
  • IDK about the topic of him being an asshole. I don't follow him like, at all.

But, I might argue about the server arena part. From my understanding, (not in the field, so feel free to prove me wrong), but Azure, AWS, and others are built on Linux. Right? Just the two sites are a very massive percentage of the internet.

Mobile, again I might be wrong. Android is a fork of Linux or runs the Linux kernel. Is that right?

  • The app I want to launch is Borderless Gaming. I don't play games that require it very often. So, I don't want to have to set it to launch when the PC starts. I found via this article that the way to launch steam apps via command line would be like this: steam://run/, so I came up with: steam://run/388080.

Adding steam://run/388080 %COMMAND% to the launch options of the game launched Borderless Gaming and then the game looked like it was going to open but it just crashed. Am I missing something?

edit: I am on Windows by the way.
