It's hard to describe why, but you visit that kind of place to see the wonders of nature and all that. Still, I'll keep in mind that other person's comment about the great feat of engineering it required.

You should make spamming too many articles within a certain X time a rule then. I think it needs to be more objective. This is getting into partisan territory.

So the rule was spamming? They should make that an actual rule then instead of banning people for posting articles supporting their opinion.

I have multiple accounts and feeds. I have one account with basically everything on my home feed and I either browse that account or Everything when I want to be informed doe just mindlessly doom scroll.

On the other hand, this account's subscribed home feed I put absolutely no news or political stuff on at all, so I just scroll subscribed for this or another account I have when I want to just tune out for a bit lol.

It's not like it's all ancient history. Sanctions are ongoing, there was the attempted coup with Operation Gideon, plus the weird attempt with Guaido, propaganda campaigns, etc. and how many things we don't know about. The US is still meddling. They are the largest empire in the world, the sole superpower. Of course they can do a lot of things and have a lot of affect. Of course Venezuela has a lot of itself to blame for its problems, like not diversifying from oil more, but you're going too far the other direction and acting as if the US has no effect on its own sphere of influence.

You should look up the history of USAID. It would probably make any country nervous when they get involved.

It was about 60/40 when I went, maybe 70/30. Mostly dancing, but some politics sprinkled in there, too. Mostly anti-China stuff. I get that China has done some bad stuff so it was easy easy to applaud and all, but now I know it's just because they're a cult that got huge and some Chinese President didn't like that.

Which isn't great because freedom of speech should be a thing, but also, huge popular religions can cause great harm, so I'm not really on their side now that I'm seeing what Christian Nationalism can do and looking at what happened in South Korea. Making sure government isn't hijacked by some crazy popular cult maybe isn't a bad idea. Also, they're ultra conservative, anti-medicine and evolution, anti-feminist, homophobic, and support Donald Trump and supported the lie that Biden stole the election, so ya, wouldn't be surprised if they've been hiding their politics more since I've seen them to stay generally popular and hope people don't suspect they suck lol.

Same thing with Biden lol. Obama interfered hard to get him elected during the primary. He's not great, but he's been surprisingly better than Trump (in every way but the genocide thing and immigration) so hopefully she's better than expected, too!

There's a huge movement to do so that. Look into land back rights and all that. But the Israel Palestine thing is more urgent because it's better to stop a genocide from happening in progress right now, then to make up for one that has already happened. The only people comfortable with America's genocide are the same right wing and centrist people supporting Israel right now.
