  • I mean I think its a good web series. We format it similar to How I Met Your Mother.

Potential seasons Ellen Poa Quarantine Policy The Donald Ban API Changes WSB Mod Policy Changes

And that's how I met Lemmy.

  • Take a look at selfhosting and a wireguard VPN. My whole digital life is local and the backups are encrypted before being uploaded to filen.io and box (lifetime 100Gb free). Photos and memories are backed up onto external drives and I hand them to my brother for safe keeping.

Backups are mandatory and a good system helps.

  • Agreed. I love my pharmacist but I wish they weren't IDA (owned by McKesson) 🤦🏼 only optional in my town are Shoppers, IDA, Remedy.. Our IDA pharmacist has saved us more than once especially during COVID.

  • Seeding

  • Question for the group:

Using Unraid can I pull from sonarr and then add to Jellyfin (watch it) and also seed? That would be amazing. Usually I have my deluge stop seeding so I can move the file to my data folder and not have duplicate files

  • I have

    • Unraid back up it's USB
    • Unraid appears gets backed up weekly by a community applications (CA app backup) and I use rclone to back it up to an old box account (100GB for life..) I did have it encrypted but seems I need to fix that..
    • Parity drive on my Unraid (8TB)
    • I am trying to understand how to use Rclone to back up my photos to Proton Drive so that's next.

Music and media is not too important yet but I would love some insight

    Canadian alternatives to Big Tech

I recently stumbled across a post in the c/Europe community (https://lemmy.world/post/24641691) that highlighted alternatives to software and infrastructure from Big Tech companies. This got me thinking - is there a similar resource available for Canadians, or would there be interest in creating one?
