Reddit is going to let you turn gold into money
  • Now users can make money off all the content they steal and rehost on reddit.

I hope this opens up a can of worms because a lot of people are now going to be making actual money from content they don't own and have no right to be reposting, rehosting or uploading in the first place.

It's about time content owners and rights holders finally let reddit feel the long dick of the copyright theft laws the fully deserve.

    Shut the hell up
  • What really fucks me off about this in the UK is a lot of the time supermarkets needed to be approved by a chain of regulators and councils to be able to set up. They promised to bring a certain amount of jobs to the area, get to build next to or inside of towns sometimes even on greenbelts, put an unfair competition against the local economy or even put it most of it out of business and then automate the jobs out so they aren't even meeting the original number of jobs they promised.

Then they extract all the wealth away from the local economy (both businesss and customers) and take it away to some corporate bank hundreds of miles away where its never seen again.

Instead of having a local butcher, Baker, electrical shop, gardening, household goods, clothing stores or chemist run by locals you have one big national corporation fucking them all over with no economic benefits returned to the area.

And then they try to get away with paying the people they do employ as little as they can legally get away with.
