The amount of irreversible damage the leaded gas generation has caused is immeasurable.

Like, I cannot stress enough how hard this gets buried.

They pumped lead into the air. Lead. The element that makes you stupid and violent. So your 30 minute commute was an hour a day huffing lead fumes if you had your window open or didn't recirculate the air.

Really not hard to see how MAGA took hold they way it did. The older ones were literally retarded and the younger ones are your usual "My dad can do nothing wrong so I'm gonna do what he does" repubs. (Spoiler: dad shit his diaper and is ranting about Mexicans again)

I had a conversation a few months ago with a frat bro who didn't know the origin of the phrase "Banana Republic". And after roughly 20 minutes of online sources the only thing he relented was that "The times were different and that was just the cost of doing business."

We killed people for cheap fruit and sugar water. Murdered. Gunned them down in the streets and their beds while they slept.

The American empire isn't going to fucking collapse because we show an ounce of remorse for the evil that's been perpetuated in the name of "our freedoms."

I saw that movie. Loved the ending.
