  • Yeah it's almost never actually about the kids, they're used as an excuse to spread hate

  • Yeah Hot and Active have been buggy for me

  • OK I kind of solved it, it was the 20 character limit that was throwing it off

  • What is tildes like? Is it worth it to try and hunt down an invite?

still having trouble (sort of solved)

I’m using Google Chrome (it is up-to-date) on lemmy.world account. I’d like to make a community but when I fill out the information and click the create button it does nothing. No loading icon, no error message. I thought maybe its just being slow so I tried letting it sit there for 10 minutes and still nothing. I turned my ad blockers off but that didn’t seem to make a difference. The names I'm trying are in lowercase, no spaces or underscores so that doesn’t seem to be the problem. I also cleared my browser, no change.

Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug? Or is my account too new maybe?

    Elon Movie

  • Thats the truth. Kathy Bates is a powerhouse, she would give us an A+ right on the nose Elon performance

  • I think this too. Let them have their little corners of the internet so they stay away from the rest of us. If they want to use public spaces to talk about fucked up stuff and type up their plans like idiots, well, all the more reason to make it easier for watchdog groups to keep track of them. I think we should keep the upvote/downvote system. Maybe once a comment (or post) reaches a certain number of downvotes, it gets marked as hidden, instead of censored or deleted. That way the users can self-mod along with the mods. I don't think there's a need to tally votes outside of each individual comment/post, so we can get rid of karma which is nice

    trouble creating a community?

I'm using Google Chrome (up-to-date), on lemmy.world if that helps. I'd like to make a community but when I fill out the information and click the create button it does nothing. edit: I turned my ad blockers off but that didn't seem to make a difference either. The name is lowercase, no spaces or underscores so that doesn't seem to be the problem. I also cleared my browser, no change.
