G7 agrees on transfer of $50 billion in profits from frozen Russian assets to Ukraine
  • The precedent that that is setting, is that it is not safe to invest in Russia. If the EU does this, the precedent is that the EU is not safe to invest in.

Russia's economy is a dwarf compared to the EU or USA.

Russian soldier is eliminated by an accurate drone drop by the "Aerobomber" strike aerial reconnaissance group of the 30th Mechanized.
  • Yes, brutal, but what the Russian army is doing is much more brutal.

Also: letting him live with the pain would be even more cruel I think. He would have died eventually from those injuries anyway.

  • If they are dead, you don't have to pay anymore. And (like the image says) they are not experienced, so perfect for the front line where the most meat gets ground. Combined, these two facts make for a huge saving on the promised payments.

Ballot stuffing in St. Petersburg was caught on video
  • I've thought the same, but then I thought of a theory. What if these people do it as weird as possible, so these videos get leaked, and they have video-evidence of how loyal to the state they are?

You know, to prevent yourself from falling out of a window.

  • I also live in the Netherlands, and because I have worked at my current job quite long already, they have a notice-period of 4 months when they want to fire me, and I have 1 month notice-period when I want to quit.

To be really honest, that is almost absurd for the employer.

  • So apparently Ralph Schumacher let out that he knows for certain that Danny is replacing Nyck after the summer break. I found it in a Dutch article, so a url is not much use I think.

Obviously, this is still very much rumours at this point, but I wanted to post about it anyways.

I know Nyck is underperforming massively, and have no illusion that he will be driving next year. But replacing a driver mid-season is always a bit harsh. Especially when his home-race is the next one on the calendar...
