Do you think it will be long before COSMIC is available outside Pop_OS? I love Pop_OS but I've started running Bazzite with GNOME/Pop Shell but I know that'll get left behind once COSMIC gets a full release.

It really seems like you're trying to blame people in poverty for being in poverty and that if only they'd follow these simple steps they wouldn't be poor so clearly it must be their own fault for not educating themselves. It's so simple and easy, just don't doordash your avocado toast and put some money in your 401k!
Poverty begets poverty. It's not a personal failing. People can't make a home cooked meal after a 12 hour shift on minimum wage. People can't just decide to not take on credit card debt when their car they can barely afford needs maintenance because it's the only way they can get to work every day to make enough money to keep barely scraping by. Systemic issues trap people in a cycle that literally destroys their bodies and minds.
It's fixed now. But flatpak steam on gnome/Wayland would display a black screen on the store when opted into the family beta for a while. Stable was unaffected.
You're not wrong but generally it's very difficult for anyone to develop financial literacy unless they already have financial stability. Real hard to learn about the details of contributing to a Roth when you are already struggling to meet basic needs.

The family beta had weird issues on Linux (Gnome/Wayland) until recently too so I'm glad to see this getting a full release.
Why not? My Steam Family is just a group of friends spread out all across the country. Geographic distance shouldn't be an issue.

People who buy these things to play whatever Windows-only anticheat games seem willing to put up with a lot of jank. The issues you're describing were exactly the sort of things that made me initially skeptical that the Stand Deck could deliver. Valve really managed to pull off something that is quite stable and easy to use compared to other devices in the same category.

Some sort of bug or mod issue caused Lae'zel's camp clothes and underwear to go missing by default so the first camp cutscene with her threatening Tav she is completely nude. It's very intimidating. I thought it was a one off thing but it happened with two other characters too so now shamelessly nude Lae'zel is part of my head cannon for the game.
I imagine the other characters telling her to put some pants on and she's just like "Chk! No, make me."
I've had exactly this happen to me. It was my own fault but it took a bit of work figure out.
