  • Yep, they lean heavily into persecution claims and this sort of experience fuels it. Ironic too because they were persecuted in Nazi Germany, but they turn around and continue that persecution against LGBTQ+ individuals (who were in the same boat).

  • Happens all the time as a cyclist at 2 way stop signs. No I don't want to go through when you've stopped and are waving me on but the other direction hasn't. I usually just shrug and point at my stop sign

  • Definitely agree with this. I'll try to ask this in order to connect with their culture (such as with traditional cooking), but I can see why someone would have their guard up when asked. It's all about intentions
