@croyle@wandering.shop the best description that I can give our job was information triage. One July our group of 18 volunteers staffed 6 locations 5 hours a day 7 days a week and we made contact with over 80,000 visitors. At the end of your 5 hour shift, your voice was shot. But as busy as the valley is in the summer, if you are camping there, and you know where to go, you can find some very quiet places. Great times.
@croyle@wandering.shop We would volunteer with Yosemite Conservancy for the month of July every year in the valley doing information services. We talked to thousands of people. But we got to camp in Lower Pines for the month.
