  • Ive played it just now, It is interesting but more a casual game than one i would play in a long sitting. The deck building is ok, the music is quite nice actually.

  • Looks like an interesting game, i have been looking for more Rogue Lites, and Reading the review gave me a good impression. Been getting into deck builders too lately so i guess this is a good start.

  • Here is me praying that Edios Montreal gets another chance somewhere else.

  • Blue collar workers in cinemas are getting chicken jockey flashbacks

  • Arasaka is basically a big part of the Lore and thats japanese :)

  • Interesting, i was hoping for Japan tho, A japanese cyberpunk game would be really cool

  • I agree, Not everyone is in every community, I have not seen this anywhere else on lemmy yet, if we are going to cherry pick when or where to post something i think we would have alot of dead communities 😅

Like i understand the frustration of seeing something everywhere but thats how it goes when something goes viral.

  • A great step towards digital sovereignty!

  • This looks absolutely awesome. I was looking for a game to play while bazing for aaaaaaaages now.

  • If you don't want advice then stop asking stupid questions.

  • Its not that deep bro, touch some grass

  • The point being that if we all just post links left and right noone knows if its credible or not, often people just post garbage, instead why not post how you get the file instead of posting a link.

Explain them how to find said repacker/cracker/ripper. When someone asks me for a game i usually say, check fitgirl/prowlar/jackett/bitmagnet (Insert X piracy site here). On rare occasions i sent them a magnet straight away but usually only people i know. If you were completely new to piracy and clicked on a link here that almost certainly contained malware with the only creds being the op saying(trust me bro)

Then i fully understand why they would not want something like that here. This is a place for discussion around piracy not your latest piratebay alternative :/

  • would the mods support your reckless behavior AND take on the liability by letting you post garbage links?

Even if its a offline unlock you are still distributing someone else code, most licenses prohibit distribution of code without the consent of the owner. Offline unlocks(In the form of cracks, Keygens or Registry changes) that subvert copy protection could also hold you liable for legal problems.

So i understand why a link like that would be banned, try posting a MAGNET instead next time :P

  • No need to go all hostile on me bro. Offline unlock or not i am just pointing something out, no need to be such a dick about it.

  • ted that way, but I had a disk with a single partition that contained a single file - the raw disk image file, and eventually decided this is silly, the filesystem In that case its silly, i always try to dedicated hardware to things based on needs so

1TB NVME: RootFS 8TB 2x SSD4TB: Home partition 2TB NVME: Neural Network Models, Games requiring fast storage.

Based on that i setup my mounts in fstab so its not just vm images on there, i have 3 virtual disks for each class on there and i try to keep my VM images as small as possible so that i have more space for non VM things

  • r it, I used it for the VM as a block device. Later after a GRUB update I discovered Windows in my GRUB boot menu. Turns out GRUB detected my VM, and now I can physically boot into my VM. Which I didn’t even know was possible.

Grub did not detect your VM, it detected a bootable operating system on the drive because you passed it through to your VM. So yeah its a nice way to be able to do both VM and Dual boot.

But i prefer using a raw disk file image on my btrfs FS because i have a sub volume for the windows 11 disk images that allows me to use btrfs filesystem snapshots with windows, so whenever i make a mistake on windows i can restore it to working state within 5 minutes.

I also prefer windows not running on bare metal, because i don't trust it or what runs on it enough for that.

This is my absolute unit of a character.

In the cyberpunk game cyberpunk2077 Its a corpo turned nomad (Alternative start mod) who became a stealth netrunner

Besides that he also is psychotic violent borderline cyberpsycho BlackLace fueled terminator death machine mercenary who's sole ambition it is to FlatLine all intelligent life in NightCity with excessive force and extreme prejudice.

There will be stories told throughout the ages about this absolute mad gonk

What other anime like thunderbolt and IBO are there in the gundam universe?

After rewatching thunderbolt yesterday it really reminded me how amazing the writing for that show was.

The realistic art style, Music, Dark writing. The theme of pilots losing their humanity to war.

It had some awesome moments too, I was curious what other gundam anime you guys can recommend that have a more similar art style/writing style as thunderbolt.

I am currently watching Zeta. Have already watched origional

Ranking Io Flemming and Daryl Lorenz's

Where would you guys rank Io Flemming and Daryl Lorenz among other Gundam pilots.

I think that Io is amazing because of how he deals with multiple targets the fact he does not need heavy augmentation to display that level of control is a testament to his skill and compatibility with his gundam.

Daryl on the other hand(haha see what i did there) has unrivaled devotion to his fight and will literally sacrifice arm and limb to become stronger.

Daryl somewhere is giving me Admech vibes from Warhammer augmenting himself for better synergy with his machine at the cost of his humanity.

I think that the show does an amazing job at conveying that loss of humanity, Gives me goosebumbs thinking of those scenes.

Overal such an amazing good show, so i am very curious as to you guys thoughts :)

Makes me curious what other YouTubers besides PewDiePie and SomeOrdinaryGamer are active Linux users 🤔

    Share your setup

    Share your setup!

Good afternoon everyone, i thought it would be fun to share each other's setups, perhaps learn something from each other.

As my moto goes, "Sharing is caring" ill start first :)

My main Network(xaetacore.net) consists out of the following

    Hardware:

      • Total capacity 50TB
    • ^ Both Nas have their second NIC peer 2 peer for backup storage
    • hv01.local.xaetacore.net (Custom built server)
    • 2 x Intel Xeon E5520 (16) @ 2.261GHz

    Favorite spot in Night City

What is your favorite spot in night city? I really like the El Coyote bar it feels really cozy and kinda reminds me of a pub.

The Arasaka HQ in Night City that you play in the beginning is also really nice especially the indoor jungle.

    Automated Music Piracy

Good afternoon fellow swashbuckelers! o? Currently my automated piracy setup is as followed:

    • Jackett for indexing
    • Bitmagnet(Indexed over 10 million torrents over DHT) DHT Crawling
    • Sonarr/Bazarr/Lidarr/Radarr: Tracking and media collection
    • Transmission: download client/server
    • Plex mediaserver: Hosting the content
    • Funkwhale: for music.

Now i face the following problem, Torrents are great for most of the media but for music its harder.

What would be the best approach for pirating music? A different protocol perhaps?

I'm curious as to how you guys solve this issue :)

    Update:

Just set up slskd with Soularr, hooked it up to my lidarr and SAN and now its fully automated, and my Funkwhale music.xaetacore.net can pull right from my SAN! :D

Thank you all for helping me out in my DM's <3
