  • Since when do you need CS degree to use Linux? Oh that's right, you don't. You just have to actually give a shit about what you personally want, and not what big corporations want you to think.

  • I think the issue here is that you believe there will be any life living. Besides bacteria and what not, nothing will live if we continue down this path.

I've been ignoring "Subscribe pending" messages when subscribing, is this a problem?
  • I do enjoy how no one is answering hour question, and I sadly will not either because I do not know.

That said, some communities that I've gotten the "Subscription Pending" message will sometimes revert to unsubscribed when I check back a few days.

I'd suggest checking a few key communities you want to be sure uoure subscribed of manually in a few days, or watch your feed in "Subscriptions" or w.e it is called in your browser/app (Connect ftw)

  • All depends very much on the instance you are in. Depending on who the people in your instance subscribe to, is what is shown in all. I didnt have much porn between .ca or reddthat yesterday. It also depends on how you sort in that instance.

The world will be doomed without them!
  • Am an electrician, we say electrocuted, shocked, or zapped depending on severity. I can tell you none of my coworkers who have been electrocuted died. Why be pendantic, when its rarely used in that sense.

Also a lethal amount of voltage can be damn near any voltage, dc, or ac. So still technically correct. Being hit by 240, or 120, can most certainly kill you. It just rarely does so unless something goes very wrong.
