Well, that's a completely legitimate question. They're obviously saying that because they want to be women and pretend to be women. They aren't being transphobic, or transphobic at all. They want to be women. (No, they aren't really transgender or trans. They just want to be women. And I'm not calling them transphobes, because they don't really want to be women. I think they're just being transphobic.) I have a question for trans people: So you don't believe that transgender people really are women? Reply: No. (The only difference between me and a trans person is that I don't want to be a woman, because trans women are so goddamn awesome.) So, what does "transgender" mean? It means you were born into a trans family, and your birth family has a very specific set of gender-variant traits that are unique to you. For example, a transgender person is typically a woman born with female genitalia, who was born with a vagina (that's what gender-determining surgeries mean, to use the trans-speak of the internet). And a trans person is usually male. And a trans person is usually neither male nor female, which is what the transgender community wants you to think. If you've read "Transgender" by Caitlyn Jenner, or read the book, or heard someone talk about transgender people, it should be clear by now that trans people are just dudes.
