@inbeesee I'm pretty sure all of Street complete is open source. The team mode is a very clever hack, where each person gets a different number and it's just showing people different quests
@InsertUser @inbeesee the team mode just makes sure 2 people don't gets asked the same thing. Otherwise it's wasted work
@selokichtli @julianwgs in the early days, people used to joke that to get good data in #OpenStreetMap you either had to import data, or import Germans. 🤣🤣
@WeirdAlex03 @NateNate60 IMO OSM Americana is part of OSM.
The OSM Project is a large and fuzzy thing 🙂
@toaster @infeeeee There's been about ~4 or 5 attempts IIRC.
This one is well documented: https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/GlobalLogic
@retiolus @openstreetmap @organicmaps developers need to get paid...
@MrMusAddict @pootriarch within OSM, it's easy to add a tag like that. Alas, it's getting data users to _use_ that tag can be tricky...
@Synnr I haven't used Waze. But @organicmaps is great
@Synnr The amount of people who have contributed to OpenStreetMap, to the map data, is massive. More than >2,000,000 people, and about 50,000 people edit the map every month.
Which app did you try? OSM is a little decentralised, so there are many.
@Synnr looks like photos from State of the Map conferences.
@blackfire @Doudouosm I thought they said to do full 24/7 support, they would need 6, but that aren't able to do that, so they're gonna just aiming for 2 (incl the 1 they have already)
@ArbiterXero @InsertUser Facebook giving OSM the legal right to mass copy the PoI (point of interest) data would be a fucking game changer.
When I was on the OSMF Board, I asked our FB rep, and of course they said no.
@sadreality @badbrainstorm @robotdna @reverie @Overzeetop It exists because they don't want to contribute to OSM 🤣
@huojtkeg Do you know about EveryDoor?
@IDatedSuccubi @beta_tester Have you opened the area up in StreetComplete?
