  • “Thank God, we are wiping out this evil. We are pushing this population that has been educated on ‘Mein Kampf.'”

I literally do not understand how someone can say this with a straight face when you're talking about wiping out a group of people based on ethnicity/religious beliefs.

  • What I said was literally from the article. This is about an association of governors, not parliament.

Also, I'm assuming you're talking about Sanseito, which does not have a majority. The recent election just gave them more seats (which isn't great obviously, but is very different from them controlling parliament). Note that when I say "more seats," I mean it went from 1 to like 15 or something out of 250 or so.

  • I mean they're sorta trying to do that. They're calling for effectively more immigration and listening to younger people and women rather than just having a bunch of old dudes decide everything. They've kinda got a lot of problems that have piled up though (economy, work culture, shrinking rural communities, etc.).

  • Truly so shocked. Anyway, pretty obvious since the biggest reason these companies refuse to even release the server component (as opposed to making the game playable offline) is that they can then either "remaster" the game and release it again in like a decade or just release it again with maybe a couple features added and call it v2.0.

  • I like how they recommend Zen in their Firefox forks list despite the creator/main contributor seemingly having little understanding of security. The UI is nice though I guess.

Maybe I'll just use mailbox.org or encrypt my emails with addy.io at this point :|

  • "'Where is this letter? Would you be shocked to learn they never showed it to us before publishing it? Does anyone honestly believe this sounds like Donald Trump?'"

You know what, you're right. It does actually sound coherent, unlike anything else I've seen or heard from Trump.

  • Reading the article, I'm not entirely sure the survey authors are claiming that. The quote they pulled sounds like it just says among the people surveyed (who are known to be trans), those stats apply. They're definitely very easy to misuse though. I feel like it would be nice to actually have good stats for people who detransition, but it seems almost impossible without someone trying to bias the results at this point.
