[@asklemmy](https://lemmy.ml/c/asklemmy) How do you listen to music / podcasts? At what places?
  • I no longer like that kind of music consumption model. I've noticed that I prefer to listen to the same album multiple times, and I think the "all-you-can-eat" model is detrimental to the artists. I prefer to support the artists directly, if possible, through services like Bandcamp. If I urgently need to listen to a specific song, I can use YouTube or tolerate the advertisements.

  • I listen to podcasts when I go to work or walk my dog. I use Overcast as an app, and I think it's great.

I work with music for a living, and I have to say that I do not listen to a lot of music, especially because I need an optimal listening setup to fully appreciate it. Currently, I use Spotify, but I think I will cancel my annual subscription when it expires.

  • Hi,

I'm a big fan of podcasts and I've been enjoying "Against the Rules" and "Darknet Diaries" lately.

Now, I want to hear your recommendations! What podcasts do you love and why? Let's build an epic list of must-listen podcasts together.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions.
