North Carolina Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson says he wants abortion to be illegal at ‘zero’ weeks, in new audio released by Democrats
  • I would like to push it back as far as we could and eliminate as many abortions as we can.

Funny thing about that: abortion bans don't actually reduce the number of abortions; it just reduces the number of safe ones.

Breaking: Student shot at Joppatowne HS has died
  • "I, as a member of Congress of the United States, would like to offer my thoughts and prayers to the family of this senseless tragedy that I will do nothing to prevent from occurring again, despite actually being in a position to do something about it. I will continue to pander to right-wing gun nuts because they've made gun-ownership their entire identity. I won't lose a single minute of sleep as I collect Russian cash laundered through the NRA because I don't really give a fuck about children. Insincerely, every GOP politician."

Former Republican Vice President Dick Cheney to vote for Harris, Liz Cheney says
  • And I suppose you hate dogs, merely because Hitler loved them?

Or maybe you can acknowledge that the morality of an action is independent of the morality of the person making the action? Dick Cheney is making the morally correct decision by endorsing Harris, but that doesn't make him a good guy any more than liking dogs made Hitler one.

A Kamala Harris win and a Democratic sweep would give the biggest boost to the economy, Goldman Sachs says
  • And if you have any savings, that's 10% less money you'll have.

If you don't have any savings, guess what happens when the price of everything increases 10%?

(This is also why flat taxes are stupid. It's because they're regressive.)

The First Nuclear Clock Will Test if Fundamental Constants Change
  • It wouldn’t be the first time we discovered that some previously constant forces are actually variable (much the way the force of gravity is affected by distance, noticeable only when you lob something high enough.)

More specifically to your example, we discovered that gravity isn't a force at all- it's a literal curvature of space-time caused by objects with mass, which is why its effects aren't constant.

  • www.pcgamer.com Space Marine 2 feels even more explosively, grimly, and hilariously authentic to the Warhammer 40,000 universe than the first game

My hands-on with both singleplayer and co-op reveals a super soldier power fantasy with an excellent understand of what makes Games Workshop's storied setting tick.

A Warhammer 40,000 space marine is not just your usual sci-fi super soldier. They are hulking behemoths, 10 feet tall (and about 10 feet wide too). They don't move like people, they move like freight trains. They have the physical bearing of an industrial freezer unit and the emotional intelligence of a crocodile. They do not retreat and they do not surrender, and their 9-to-5 is fighting the worst things you can possibly imagine over and over in a completely futile forever-war.
