  • Agreed completely.

KDE just feels better and more performant. Even if GNOME Shell uses less memory in its own, it doesnt always feel good to use.

However GNOME Shell and Adwaita are beautiful, consistent, and designed through human feedback. KDE is fragmented, too nested, and has so many conflicting designs.

Its not possible to make KDE feel exactly like GNOME Shell but I wish I could.

  • YouTube is my only subscription.

I use it for Music and Video. I definitely get my money's worth, they're streaming to me at least 8 hours a day.

If it's not background music, it's videos. I can't even fathom how many hours of ads I have avoided.

  • The Contigo Cortland chill. I love this bottle so much if I lose it I buy another. I've been using this bottle for at least 6 years now.

Because it's a button spout it's very good for air sipping (water falling). Since I don't put my mouth on it, there is less chance of bacteria developing in the bottle and lid.

The Lid folds open on the inside which makes it easy to clean by hand.

I see they have new filtered variants, I haven't tried those yet.

  • My question is, wouldn't the power needed to run these negate the benefits they bring?

This is also ignoring the gross notion that these can make money so they're more worthy than trees when considering solutions.
