which movie, in your opinion had a great soundtrack but the movie itself was terrible.
  • Skate Kitchen. I watched it because I like the Clairo song that’s on the soundtrack and it’s about skateboarding, but this has to be the most boring coming of age movie I’ve ever seen. Not helped by Jaden Smith’s terrible acting

Need to bring something out with you tomorrow? Physically block the front door with the thing tonight!
  • I wish this worked for me. I’ve put things on the doorknob of my bedroom and still forgotten to take them out of the house. Setting reminders on my phone works though for some reason

What's your favorite rabbit hole to go down?
  • I like deep dives into neon genesis evangelion. I doubt theres anything else I can get out of a show I've seen multiple times and watched who knows how many analysis videos on, but I still like listening to someone talk about it.

People who work in food service or customer service: What’s the dumbest thing a customer ever insisted was “the law” or “illegal”?
  • We do not have to keep a register open just because there is a customer in the store. We've been making closing announcements for almost an hour and the store closed 20 minutes ago. You had more then enough time to buy whatever you wanted. Come back tomorrow.

If you could witness any historical event firsthand, which one would you choose and why?
  • The first time man walked on the moon. I love astronomy, space travel, and studying the physics that makes it all happen. I’m too bad at math to ever be an astronaut, so seeing that first hand through wish magic would mean everything to me

What are your favourite analogies for explaining difficult or complex concepts?
  • Driving a car is like reading a book. It’s easy, but retards make it look difficult

Why are techies so averse to funding the arts?
  • Something I kept hearing when I was younger is that STEM = money and getting a degree or pursuing a career in something that doesn't make money is a waste of time. This idea gave a lot of people a high and mighty attitude that if you arent working in tech you're wasting your life. "Get fit and learn to code" became the go-to life advice when I was in my 20s. People that don't understand art (not as in getting a message out of it, but understanding why people enjoy creative works) telling each other and anyone that will listen that if something isn't a money making engine theres no reason to do it
