Millions of Canadians get their carbon tax rebates today. So why do many not believe it?
  • I'm interested what you spend your money on that's so Carbon Tax heavy. I live super far North, use 6000l oil to heat my home every year and the rebate I get would cover around 11000l of oil. So 50% of the annual rebate (it's 4 payments per year btw) covers my heating, and 50% covers driving and indirect costs. I also take advantage of grants and rebates for upgrading my home where I can (I don't know if they are funded from Carbon Tax though).

What are y'all anticipating in the chat tomorrow?
  • To me, part of the fun in Diablo is from learning and discovering how all the skills and items and hearts work together. I feel like lots of people read build guides and at that point it just turns into a grind fest. Don't get me wrong, I check out some guides as it's almost impossible to learn about every skill synergy. But if you min/mix following a guide from the day you buy the game it's your own fault if it feels like a chore.

  • All the articles I saw were "Reddit user says Diablo 4 is the worst game ever" and then they proceed to play 100hrs of season 1.

I'm season 1 level 47 and having a blast. You angry haters need to get a life or find a new game.

Wildfire burned 3 homes in Behchokǫ; another 'extremely challenging' day ahead, N.W.T. Fire says
  • Always shitty when fires are so close to communities. I was just talking to someone about how many people that live there lived there their entire lives - some of them (the older ones) don't speak English. This is all they know.

The 2000 people left town 2 days ago and went mostly to Yellowknife and Fort Providence.

www.placespeak.com City of Yellowknife Water and Sewer Rate Review

Please provide us your comments on a water and sewer Cost of Service Analysis the City has commissioned from InterGroup Consultants.

The city is doing a rate review and looking for comments. I support moving further towards usage based fees. We recently moved somewhere with 2.5 bathrooms and our fixed fees almost doubles because of the 1/2 bathroom.
