UPS: how to turn the server back on?

  • If you’ve got SFP+ onboard it sounds like you have a relatively serious server. Does it have IPMI? You could have a low power device like a Pi issue and IPMI command to power on.

  • You can use any ssh command option (including -w) with autossh.

    -w creates tap devices on the server and client, and connects them together. Both sides get a private IP address.
