Yeah his TikTok algo def pushed a delulu patch
Not fucking at all.
I hate this coliseum gladiator thumbs up or down bullshit. America really is a mob.
THEY NEVER SHOULD HAVE VOTED TO CONFIRM HER IN THE FIRST PLACE. OUR OWN PARTY IS FULL OF DUMBASSES.
Sadly Trump the fuck that he is will see this as an opportunity to fill the vacuum with little Steven Millers.
Exciting! I’m very curious what mobility will be like for this game, considering how grounded the gravity rules are in the show and (judging by the trailer) this game as well.
I would hope not.
“There was a moment where him and Charlize Theron were whispering to each other, and it took like 10 takes to get the shot,” Goldberg said, who directed the Scorsese episode. “And then we got it and I was like, ‘What were you whispering about?’ He was like, ‘I knew you were doing this wrong, but I didn’t wanna be a backseat director, so I just didn’t say anything.’ And I was like, ‘Well, we could have used that time, but I appreciate that you didn’t wanna manhandle us.’”
Yo they made a TR show?? I never heard about that one. It’s insane how poor marketing can kill stuff.
I would encourage you to not speak so assuredly about how successful an adaptation can or cannot be based solely on source material.
Filmmaking is hard work, made even more difficult by executive producers who think their opinion should be weighted over that of the creative team. I’ve seen this first-hand, and I’ve watched projects I’ve been excited to take on turn sour.
It happens all the time.
This administration’s idea of “waste” is determined by the groups of people the programs help.
Democratic brand is currently an albatross. Expect a lot of people going “independent” for lack of a defined third party in the coming years. We saw in 24 what a determined group who despise genocide above all can do to sway a presidential election.
I’ve been around and that’s become a feature of a lot of American cities.
A lot of my friends have been out of work for a while. It’s really not looking good, and we’re all wondering what’s the point of living in LA anymore.
I think HBO had it right with their 13 episode shows. There’s just enough time for a rich, fulfilling arc, while not feeling rushed.
When it shrunk to 10, we managed it well, but always wanted one more episode. When it dropped to eight, suddenly there was no room to breathe.
Now with them creeping down to 6 & 7, I’m wondering why I even bother investing in a show.
TLOU is kind of frustrating. Season one had 10 episodes (two got squished together as a 90min pilot after they shot them, and that’s why it came out to 9). But season two’s seven measly episodes? Why adapt a show if you’re not even going to explore the story and characters in new ways? There’s no time to do that in seven episodes.
So yeah, when I watch these older shows like sopranos, wire, deadwood… I’m like “hell yeah, this is the sweet spot.” Oh add Andor to that list. 12 worked well for the structure of that show. Both seasons.
Woah. I thought they were wrapping it up this week.
Great show. Can’t wait for the next chapter.
I would find it ‘moral’ to throw Mike off something, as well.
Sadly, without Pedro, the weight of this show is left on Bella’s shoulders. They’re a strong actor, but Ellie has not been written well this season. I hate to say that, as I have been a Craig Mazin fan ever since Chernobyl.
It was made all too clear when we got the flashback episode with Joel. Everything felt right again. And I’m not saying that because Joel was back. But because Pedro and Bella are THAT good together.
I think that the flashbacks should have been spread throughout the season so we never lost Joel’s voice in our ear, and we could keep seeing those sad eyes of his. It would have covered the multitude of sins we’ve seen in the pacing of this second season.
Baby needs to go down for a nap.

What shows do we want to talk about?

Hey y’all,
Since taking the reigns on this community, I’ve essentially been continuing with weekly episode discussions for the shows I already saw people engaging with. But as new ones release, I’m not sure how to gauge the level of interest (Strange Planet, for example).
How are we feeling about the upcoming schedule? The Changeling dropped three episodes recently, we’ve got The Morning Show’s third season arriving this week… should I create threads for these?
