Thank you for the text linking tip! I use Firefox and have been wanting a built-in way to link text, instead of remembering the syntax itself. I had just been asking an LLM to do it for me; this is a good reminder to look things up.

Thanks for the post. I wholeheartedly agree, to the point of writing out most emails first-hand on paper first.
One quality of life improvement I sometimes use is an apple shortcut I made that calls the Gemini API to transcribe my handwriting. I wrote about it here: https://liquidbrain.net/blog/gemini-transcription-shortcut/. If I'm writing something down to then be put on the interwebs, this is actually pretty decent at it. I'm sure later LLMs will be better.
