Why pay for an OpenAI subscription?
  • I mean, you can simply define something differently than the last 50 years of researchers in computer science. It's just not going to make a difference.

    Why pay for an OpenAI subscription?
  • I've developed "AI" using prolog.

    No machine learning, you're still solving problems using logical reasoning and deduction that's not intuitively obvious for humans.

    And that is why I don't do statistics
  • I wrote an ai that classifies spam emails with 99.9% accuracy.

    Our test set contained 1000 emails, 999 aren't spam.

    The algorithm:

    I hope someday we'll find a way to pirated a car
  • This type of subscription is actually kiiiiinda understandable because the company has to maintain servers, staff and keep the software secure because they're handling sensitive data such as location etc.

    I also remember that BMW I think? Had a heated seat subscription and that's really not justifiable imo

    Why is Google allowed to remove purchases from our Play Store accounts without telling us?
  • Epic games is retarded.

    I bought rdr when it releases in PC there, and oh wonder the pic port wasn't good at the beginning.

    Tried to get it to run for the hours, including the launcher update and stuff like that.

    No luck, and no refund because I "played" for now than two hours...

    EDIT: I THINK I STAND CORRECTED
  • As a math PhD you should come to the conclusion that both are enumerable and this is why they are the same.

    Y=x

    And

    Y=e^x

    With lim x->(I don't know how to type it here)

    are not the same but both unbounded.

    Lemmy, what are some of your "oh shit" work stories?
  • From what I understand you obfuscate the port in order to limit the amount of incoming attacks. But then fail2ban would be a much more effective tool.

    The disinterested aspect you described is the actual problem. Because it's based on the assumption your port won't be found, but it definitely will, and as soon as that happens you'll end up in a database such as shodan and the entire effect is GONE.
