Considering moving to Emby from Jellyfin, anything I should know?

While I love Jellyfin its clients always leave something to be desired Be it thumbnail scrubbing which only works with a plugin but doesn't work on Android TV while Emby implements that flawlessly or intro skipping which suffers from the same issues as scrubbing and although I've yet to try intro skipping in Emby, I've read that it works perfectly. I've tried Emby for a few hours and it really does seem better than Jellyfin The only downside I could find is that switching between users in Android TV always asks me for their password which is quite annoying but it is to my understanding that it will be addressed in 4.8 (could be wrong)

So with that being said, should I know anything before making the switch? Perhaps I'm making a mistake and should be more patient with Jellyfin's development?

It would cost me around $250, is it worth it? Will it be able to handle it all? Would it be able to handle Jellyfin transcoding if necessary?

How's a HP EliteDesk G4 Tower with i7-8700 for a first home server for Jellyfin, Home Assistant & OpenVPN?
