The survey form eats more RAM the longer it's open until it becomes unusable.
Namecheap also offers hosting.
The people that use old.reddit are a very small minority, and many are likely already here.
A game has never made me cry, but movies and shows make me cry all the time. Even the most emotional game just doesn't come close to other mediums.
A great feature of RES was you could make your username appear as "user" locally. That way, you could browse Reddit in your browser without people around you seeing your username. That'd probably be one of the easier RES features to add here.
ChatGPT is most useful when you may not know the right answer, but you know a wrong answer when you see one. It's very useful for technical issues. Much quicker for troubleshooting than searching page after page for a solution.
Can we please stop building everything around Discord? It has its place as a chat app, but it's become like a web parallel to our own, except owned and operated by a single company. It's an information black hole, completely closed off from the rest of the web, unscrapeable, uncrawlable, unarchiveable, and borderline unsearchable. It has everything that is wrong with the web today. When the company dies, all information in the app dies with it. There's no Internet Archive for Discord.
I miss when PC games had flaps on the box, and they'd be full of screenshots and art from the game.
That's a good feature. I think Sync has both these features.
This way one can blur NSFW on their main they'd use in public, and can have NSFW unblurred on their NSFW alt. account. I know of several Lemmy apps that already do this.
I couldn't convince my dad to get a Brother laser printer, so he got a Brother Inkjet. It still works so much better, and the ink lasts so much longer, than any other inkjet I've used.

That's quite similar to me. I got HL2 Jan. 2005. I played Guild Wars instead of WoW because I didn't want to pay for a sub.
Did you make your account for Half-Life 2? My account is the same age, and that's the game that introduced me to Steam.
I didn't think of that. That will make it disappear, but I shouldn't have to do that.
This may occur on other sites, but I notice it often on YouTube when I fullscreen a video. To make it disappear, I have to mouse over a link that changes the URL in the bottom left. If a video is in fullscreen, I have to exit fullscreen to do that.
This issue still occurs in safe mode. v117.0 (64-bit) Windows 11 v22H2 22621.2134
School's just starting. It won't hit the peak of hype without some huge new features or improvements, but it'll rise again.
Also likely their most expensive half. If the app is mostly feature-complete and in maintenance mode, they may believe the juniors can handle it. Whether they actually can or not is TBD.
Emerald is pretty pricey these days. I got my copy years ago for a fraction of the price, and I felt like it was overpriced back then.
Side-issue: the OP was posted from my desktop. It had 3 embedded images in the body, but I can't see them from Sync. I only see the text.
From the front page, clicking the 3 dots on a post, the 3 dots next to "View community", then clicking "About community", always gives a blank page.
However, navigating to the community itself, clicking the 3 dots in the top right, then clicking "About", it gives the community's info.
Force stopping, restarting the device, or reinstalling the app don't resolve the issue.
Anyone else have this issue? Is this a known issue that I missed being discussed?
Sync v23.08.31-14:10 (50)
I believe there's a mod that fixes spongy enemies.
