Nostalgia is a hell of a drug. Older games are a laggy mess when there is too much on the screen. Not to mention sprites disappearing. The issue I think is, we have gotten better and better over the decades until recently. We are just seeing a backward slide in performance (for many reasons, not just poor optimization).

I live about an hour from Eugene, OR so I see the Cherry Poppin' Daddies regularly.

Been revisiting my days of BMX and skating with Bad Religion, NoFX, Rancid, and some other ska stuff.

This show was gold.

The navigation computer did it. Parsecs are a measure of distance, so it really is just the computer being super accurate with its ability to plot a course and stay on it.
