Clicking upvote shows endless spinner?
  • Thanks -- is this being tracked in GitHub out of curiosity?

  • Also weirdly it seems to be less of an issue when upvoting posts from remote instances? Maybe the Beehaw server is just being slammed.

  • The "Create" button for posting this had an endless spinner, too.

  • Anybody else seeing this? The item is eventually upvoted, but the spinner will keep going.

Edit Jul 20: Seems to be working fine now

PSA: Beehaw will be down for upgrades from about 22:30 UTC to 1:00 UTC (6:30 EST to 9 EST)
  • If you have the time and inclination, it would be great to have these logged as issues in GitHub so that people are aware of them and can discuss/fix them.

  • Sounds like you're mostly talking about font size? Font sizes are set in rems, as that article recommends, though the body is set to 0.875rem. Using the built-in browser zoom should manage this for you. Or do you mean type hierarchy?

Contrast needs improving in some places definitely.

    Anything else?
