What do you need IPv6 for?
It is suspicious that 9/10 of the most recent posts come from OF Lemmy accounts that were all created 2 days ago. Like, it's probably a bot. But I also don't mind because it's so easy to ignore the OF links.
I've been waiting for that Link amiibo to come back in stock at the nintendo store or come down in price on amazon... so far it's only increased by 50℅, though.

I player Scarlet again for the first time since the TotK release, but I feel like there's not anything to do. I kind of put me off even bothering with the DLC, although I know I will buy it

It says that the US did most lf the fighting, so felt entitled to take the lion's share and were the only ones with the A-bomb so felt they could dictate what they wanted. And the Allies were not in a good financial position to sustain another occupation. It makes some degree of sense, but I don't understand why the exact same arguments didn't apply to Korea just across the sea.

I had a period (~5 years) of not playing any games before playing it, and it's not a very interesting choice since it got good reviews, but I really feel like Zelda Breath of the Wild is such a well-made game bordering on masterpiece.
Exactly. We get warmer weather until it turns catastrophically cold.
It's somehow less annoying if there's a reason for it than it just being a random unknown bug, so thanks for the explanation.
I was trying to subscribe to kbin magazines the other day, but there's something weird going on. https://kbin.social/m/korean shows two posts, but https://lemmy.world/c/Korean@kbin.social shows none. Actually subscribing works but doesn't reveal anything.
I'm not sure gimping is infectious like that, but it's fucking weird.
Yeah, I don't think I've seen human extinction floated as a likely outcome, but food and water shortages could lead to deaths in the millions, which I can't even comprehend at the moment

No, "compact" as it was known was what predated the mobile web interface, which itself now seems to be being replaced by another interface based on new reddit. It was really lightweight and fast without any ads. The drawback was that it was never updated to display images in line or for their terrible video player. Or chat and all that new stuff.
What the hell? When they killed the old compact site, that was the beginning of the end for me, and it turns out it's still accessible? Not going back, just can't believe I didn't know about this
It's probably about 50/50. Whatsapp is the most common chat app, though I barely use it.
