  • They could at least be a bro and make this data easily searchable for me then. I hate always revisiting Reddit when looking for info on obscure shit.

  • Now do Android TV! All I want is to be able to allowlist channels for my kids but block everything else. I know an htpc is a better option but I'm lazy.

Trump is 'hanging himself' with his own rope as campaign spirals out of control: analyst
  • Yep. I've been forever hardened into a political and legal cynic starting with hanging chads and most recently, with the lack of Jan 6 accountability for Trump.

Biden dropping out was a wonderful and pleasant surprise. I was NOT getting my hopes up that he would step down, especially given the DNC's tendency to fuck up what should be easy wins.

  • What in the fresh hell is this?

Stumbled on this while researching tablet PCs and clicking on a Reddit "post" from Google results. I take no pride in any part of that sentence.

Ukrainian drones now spray 4,000° F thermite streams right into Russian trenches
  • I have some questions you might ask yourself:

What is the count of those vs. the number of surrendered Russians being treated well?

Which one is more likely to be in the news?

Which one is more likely to be spread around by Russian bots?

Which will be more likely to be suppressed?

Ukrainian drones now spray 4,000° F thermite streams right into Russian trenches
  • I see where you're coming from. It's like tolerating the intolerant. There is a point where Ukraine needs to choose between total destruction by Russia, or doing whatever it takes to get their land and people back.

It's not like Russia is held accountable for war crimes. Why would we be so critical of Ukraine when no one is doing anything to stop the atrocities of Putin?

I don't happily endorse the thermite drones, but you won't find me playing judge on what Ukraine is doing. They didn't start this war.

Trump's rambling is getting worse | His speech is becoming harder and harder to understand.
  • I saw plenty of Democrats holding their nose to vote for Biden, while being very vocal about his age and cognition. I don't see any criticism about Trump from his base. They shun any Republican politician who speaks out against him, so all we get is softballs from those not up for re-election again.

I mean, why do you think Biden stepped down? It was pressure from voters, pressure from donors, and pressure from a ton of elected democrats. Where is that pressure on Trump?

  • www.propublica.org In Uvalde, Students Followed Active Shooter Protocol. The Cops Did Not.

Across the country, states require more training to prepare students and teachers for mass shootings than for those expected to protect them. The differences were clear in Uvalde, where children and officers waited on opposite sides of the door.
