  • Doesn't need to be a 3" grouping. Could have just gotten lucky. Could have been aiming center mass or for the head and wildly missed. But also he wasn't moving and 200 yards with a properly sighted in scope isn't too different from 100 yards and a properly sighted in scope.

  • What you just described was a horribly inefficient use of resources. You gained insight through idle banter. While everyone is in office that's what middle managers would tend to handle. All this time they thought they were herding cats, turns out the cats just wanted to be home. Now people don't know who to go to because the "yes" person isn't in a cubicle you can just waltz over to. Middle management needs a massive paradigm shift if they want to stay relevant in a WFH situation. And that seems increasingly likely to be the direction businesses will go once they cut staff with these asinine RTO policies.

  • Pretty sure some news show like CNN haD a segment on "what word is more racist, cracker or the n-word". Then someone like Jon Stewart or Jon Oliver covered that and could only scream "THE ONE YOU CAN'T SAY OR SHOW ON TV!" Good times.

  • If you're completely sober and they're to the point of field sobriety tests or the PBT (Preliminary Breath Test), you're almost assuredly getting arrested regardless. At that point there is nothing you can do at the roadside to help your case. You can only hurt it. If some ignorant pissant wants to cry because they fucked up and "wasted their time", fuck 'em.

  • Alternatively, if you know you'll blow 0s, demand the breath test at the station. The breath test on the side of the road only provides probable cause and is not itself admissible as evidence of actual intoxication. Blood tests can reveal other potential intoxicants like adderall or something. Depending on state they may be able to play a little fast and loose on what qualifies as "driving under the influence" even if it's a prescribed medicine being used appropriately.
