Ken het concept valse keuze, maar ben het niet eens dat dit er een is. Risico nemen loont, dit geldt overal. Daarbij doe ik wel de aanname dat de risicocalculatie en beprijzing kloppen.
Om een ander vergelijk te maken: is het oneerlijk dat een rijk persoon in lucratieve en flink schommelende aandelen kan investeren omdat hij risico kan lopen, terwijl een minder rijk persoon aan een spaarrekening is gebonden?
Volgens mij is dit geen vals dilemma. Dat het misschien niet in je ideale wereldbeeld past en dat (bepaalde vormen van) zorg misschien toegankelijker moet zijn voor zowel armen als rijken, is een apart verhaal.
Even los van het eigen risico en of dit wel of niet omlaag kan: iemand keuze bieden is toch niet oneerlijk? Betaal meer van dit, dan minder van dat. Of andersom.

Ik ben al 15j op rij mijn eigen risico kwijt door een kwaal die nooit weg zal gaan. Doe al die jaren al m'n best om geen zorg af te nemen, maar ook met financiële prikkel gaat me dit niet lukken. Maar gelukkig kan ik in ieder geval betalen.
