If it helps, you see, he was “in government” at the time so he had no choice but to be a shit eating sycophant who told the president whatever he thought he wanted to hear. Had he been outside government, and free from the shackles of his own cowardice, he would have preferred a better candidate. A patriot if ever I saw one.

If you can’t find any beauty in what America has accomplished in 250 years, you’re being willfully ignorant. This country is in a desperately fucked up state right now, and it’s been even worse throughout history, but to pretend that the only version of America that exists is when we are at our very worst is just intellectually dishonest.

I really hope this doesn’t come off as some tankie bullshit because that is not my intent.

It seems like I see a lot of conflicting perspectives on what is going on in Ukraine. Sometimes it feels like Russia is a joke and Ukraine is making them look like fools. Their technology is outdated, they’re running out of troops, etc. But then a post like this comes along and suggests they’re committing acts of terror and are an existential threat to Ukraine.

It doesn’t feel like both things could be true at the same time.

Is Russia succeeding or are they failing in Ukraine?

How would bigasuraswrathfan2007 know that it’s an image of a dog? The text on the image saying it’s a dog is a part of the image that they allege “hasn’t loaded yet”. I’m telling you something rings false about this image, there’s shit they aren’t telling us and I’m sick of it.
