  • Need for Speed: Carbon.

Neigsendoig (whom I edited videos for) and I had just conducted an experiment with some customization options at some certain levels due to significant numbers in cryptocurrency. For example, the Bitcoin rep for each car class (in this game, Exotic, Muscle, and Tuner) has 21% (signifying 21 million BTC) on the Autosculpt parameters for parts we chose, despite us using Extended Customization for some further control in what parts we chose.

This is the same with Monero at 51% (due to a 51% attack that happened to Monero in 2025) for each Autosculpt parameter for parts we chose, 20% (signifying ERC-20) for Ethereum (really, Ether), and just stock for Zano (think Tor routing of sorts for cryptocurrencies without privacy by default), with no Autosculpt.

We also utilized different color schemes representing each cryptocurrency as well to differentiate each car we decided for each class (4 per class). All of this will be edited by either myself or Sendo (if I do edit this, it'd be the first time I edited for that channel in about a year or so). We hadn't decided upon that as of yet.

That's what I've been doing as of late.

  • My issue is that one of the things Neigsendoig (whom I edited videos for) and I use for music production (essentially WINE, but for music production plugins) doesn't work with WINE 9.22+ right now. That infuriates me to my core, personally speaking.

A Catholic Joke I Had Heard

  • I think it'll really depend on how far they are into production of a usable version of the emulator. It's impressive if the claim made is tested, vetted, and verified.

  • I just use a net to catch things. If you know what I'm talking about, you know darn well I'm not for either DRM.

  • It's too new, and they need time to actually vet that claim.

  • Nobody who's famous can date anyone normal. There are certain requirements for that to happen. One of them is for someone to be in the "club" we aren't in.

  • That's just my guess on the matter, however, though AOSP is likely to be killed off by Google themselves. I just hope the Graphene devs can do something about taking that over, and even forking it if it happens.

  • I was unable to use Ollama with it, which I wanted to do. I also considered using LMStudio for it as well.

  • They won't be doing that, and they'll do anything under their lawful power to prevent Google from restricting it with the DRM that'll be implemented next year.

  • I never forgot about the Boeing "suicides". Those are Boeing whistleblowers who were murdered because they spoke too much, and broke a sort of NDA that basically requires game-ending if, and when, the NDA is violated.

That latter part is for those that don't know about how this works.

  • Kushner and the Saudis, absolutely. Good chance I won't be playing their newer games after I heard about that nonsense.

  • I don't think that'll be possible. I wouldn't even buy BF6 because of Javelicrap (EA's botnet akin to Activision's Ricocrap), and why I'd want a rootkit on my system is beyond me (plus, Linux users are excluded from playing BF6 in the first place).

  • I've tried to set up Void, which is essentially FOSS Cursor, if that's what you're looking for.

  • If they game-end a whistleblower because of what he's said against them, it's not out of their purview to do something like this. They don't do stuff like that once....

  • In Lemmy Today (the instance out of Oregon), I think what OP is talking about fits under Rule 1 (and that's the same with .ml).

  • I could potentially see the issues, but I think the Lemmy Today guys thought of that. I think they recommend some mobile clients that could potentially mitigate that (or it could be something their VPS is doing that's strange and that they're already looking into).

  • I think you might want to take a look at novelWriter if you want a writing app. However, that one uses a markdown-like syntax, and it seems you want either just plain text or rich text.

For that, I use Obsidian with a few plugins and a theme that allows me to focus, that being Zen. Otherwise, that uses markdown, and that might not be a good option for you either.

Doing some Reddit research (I'm reading using Eddrit, though), it seems FreeDOS with something like WordPerfect 5.1 might be a good option, but it isn't Linux. You want Linux, so that isn't viable either.

Someone seems to have recommended Tiny Core and whatever editor (TUI editor) you'd like. For that, I would personally use Vim set up as a word processor, as shown here in one method, but that seems to be something interesting too. The only difference is that I'd want to see if Harper is a package so I could use that instead of LanguageTool.

Wordgrinder is another TUI option, which is a terminal-based word processor, though I hadn't really used it.

Kate is another option, which I've used quite some time back. I don't really care for it, but it could be something more your style.

That's just how I see it, though.

  • A YT link in a server that doesn't allow Twitter? That's strange. I'd say PTB in this pickle. Also, I love THO's work, so I get it.

  • That isn't .ml in this case. It was a DB0 community where OP was banned.

  • While I would say the way you worded things was way too unprofessional (I had a similar experience on a different instance I used), I would also mention that it was nothing too controversial. Hey, at least the EU went ahead and at least did something about the labeling trick called lying.

However, this was 100% BPR for me. Some say YDI, but I don't. The compromise for me is that ESH in this instance.
