I'm a sappling in the Linux world, so I'm useless to you, but I'm following this thread just in case I start hearing "Ike, we are sick of you talking about ghosts!" coming from my speakers.
How do you think you were compromised? And what have you been doing to make sure you're not leaking your information to a memelord shit poster of a hacker in the meantime while you're working on getting this fixed?
FreeTube has been the best so far IMO. You can import subscriptions from YouTube using Google Takeout so that they're stored locally on your device moving forward. Been using it on Graphene OS and Arch Linux for the past couple weeks. I'd check it out sometime.
He repeatedly advocates and speaks up for marginalized groups, particularly migrants and LGBTQ people every chance he gets, specially because Trump regime is actively hostile towards them. The tweet is poor taste, short sided and I wish he had gone back and reflected on his response, but he is definitely not a transphobe, and is most definitely an ally.
Not the same, and doesn't justify the tweet, but the sentiment reminds me when Jennifer Welch said that Republicans should be banned from eating from Mexican restaurants because, well, they're fucking racist:
On a side note, Kyle from Secular Talk is based and tells like it is. Primarily grass roots funded and has been pushing candid leftist talking points for a long time. I always recommend him for coverage of US politics when I get a chance.
The equivalent Liberal party in the US capitulated to death to Republicans, leading a fascist takeover. In wouldn't count on Carney alone to put in boxing gloves on without massive public pressure; secure and make sure he knows that Canadians need a fucking fighter.
Editing because I replied to the wrong comment lol.
These are the same approaches from the equivalent Liberal party in the US that eventually gave way to fascism. Carney fighting for Canadians would mean he'd have to fight back against the fascist fucks across the border. Interfering with the Air Canada strikes is roped in with the same problem in one way shape or another. Not representing constituents properly is what gives way to for people to wander and pick someone like Polievre.
