It wouldn’t surprise me if both of those things are true.
I’m a hard lefty and even I will tell people not to give any votes to Stein. She rubs shoulders with Putin and a bunch of his cabinet members. There was also the time she called for a recount, took a bunch of donations to get the recount going, and then when it inevitably failed, she vanished with the money.
Just bought Veilguard, so I’ll be playing that. I also got a handful of new parts to do a refresh on my inline skates so I can do my usual Saturday morning skate session.
Oh yeah. I’m still regularly playing Skate 3 and making video clips from it. I mix it up though. I play tons of old console and PC games (Steam Deck), and occasionally get into a headspace where I dive back into retro games. N64, NES, Genesis/Master System, etc.
On the flip side, I’m playing Veilguard right now. I usually don’t buy games on release day, but I make exceptions. The other exception I made was Elden Ring and I have nearly 400 hours into that. No regrets.
Halloumi is awesome!
I still have my Xbox 360 physical copy, so no, I will not be paying $50 for a 14-year-old game.
Woof. What a disaster. That dude always struck me as a grifter.
What’s happening with Mr. Beast? I’m out of the loop.
I’ve had to stop harping on the “2 sides of the same coin” thing because it’s tiresome for everyone. Fortunately, the liberal folks I know don’t particularly like Harris either, but they also don’t know what the alternative is in such a rigged system.
It took me years to finally get people to realize that it’s all ratchet effect bullshit and both parties are complicit.
Yeah, this was a long time ago too when things were different. I know many people had the same issue though to no avail, and with a ton more hours under their belt.
I remember having a Far Cry 3 save bug that went unfixed for years (idk if it ever even got fixed). I would keep 2-3 different saves handy just to not lose all of my progress.
The reality is that if people want to stop simply dreaming about revolution, shit is gonna get way ugly before it gets better. Us USA folks are stuck in a country that has both the biggest military and by extension, police forces, in the entire world. Our government looks at world atrocities and is like “yeah, we patented that.”
It’s pretty simple. Just like when the simple solution to defeating the Nazis was to fucking kill them or force them to surrender and rot in a prison. The approach still stands. You don’t let fire spread; you put it out. You don’t let disease spread; you kill or contain it. You don’t let mold grow in your house; you eradicate it.
You don’t let nazis march in your streets in 2024; you beat the fuck out of them and send them to hell.
It’s seriously criminal how underpaid those folks are.
I basically have permanent anxiety because of this. My entire life, tasks have been driven by fear and anxiety. My emergency response is fucking amazing because of this. I broke my wrist last year and was in a zen mind state. Handled it like it was nothing and didn’t panic. It makes me wonder if software engineering was the wrong field for me and I should’ve instead been an ambulance driver.
It’s such an easy one to misspell. I was a graphic artist for years and it’s not the first time I’ve seen this error. Glad I could help! Lmao.
“Get you spot” - typo??
This is pretty neat! The new tech for big screens is unreal.
A meme that shows an image of Jordan Peterson on the left, and Henry Rollins on the right. The title at the top reads: > Why listen to glorified motivational speaker Jordan Peterson when you can just listen to Henry Rollins
The left column below Peterson reads:
- Thinks there is a "crisis in masculinity"
- Insists that the "hero's journey" is a long, strenuous process
- Never collaborated with Tool
- Zero scene cred
- Writes self-help books
The right column below Rollins reads:
- Never belittles or puts you down for your inner turmoil
- "Hero time starts. Right. Now."
- Provided a visceral monologue on Tool's debut album
- Well respected in the music scene
- Writes about his travels and interacting with foreign cultures

I recently started playing GTAV again and sometimes I’ll get in my car and let the radio stations play while I do house stuff. Favorite stations are the 80s one with Kenny Loggins, and West Coast Classics and Rock Radio.
He’s been doing this ever since we got him and I hope he never stops. Bonus thumbs!
