What's was your favourite fast food product that unfortunately got retired and never came back?
  • Mcdonald's chicken selects! And by extension the snack wraps. Also their very limited basket of fries. I feel like I might be the only person who even remembers it.

Friendly reminder: if you take stimulants, you NEED to take Magnesium, too!!
  • I don't take ANY supplements I don't discuss with my doctor first. Where did you hear this information about stimulants "leeching" magnesium from your body? I can't find a single source about this anywhere.

I have been stalked and harassed for at least 11 years
  • That's pretty callous. This is obviously someone in a long-term battle with their mental health. It's not hard to just scroll past instead of leaving a hurtful comment.

DNA Tests Are Uncovering the True Prevalence of Incest
  • Anecdotal, but I know at least ten people who have died in traffic accidents. I'm only 30. I also work in retail and see thousands of people a day. A whole person a day I see could statistically be a child of incestuous rape. That is pretty shocking and horrifying to me.

Just started Strattera. I feel superhuman, but have some questions about the side effects.
  • I'm on adderall so my experiences may be different. The super human rush lasted about two weeks for me until my body settled into it. I'm on 10mg a day, but my doctor prefers a two day a week "drug holiday" so I don't develop a tolerance.

I slept better the first few weeks because I was exhausted as it wore off from actually doing things. I started to sleep poorly again after that, but I'm now taking 50mg of trazedone a night and sleep like a champ. If you frequently take melatonin your body doesn't respond to it as well. I was taking 10mg a night before my doctor recommended trazedone.

My only side effect is very slight tremors in my hands, but they lessen over the day. The focus is still there, but I definitely have to put forth more conscious effort a few months in. I'm on anti depressants as well so my genitals gave up years ago. I had serious temper problems which are VERY reduced.

My advice: take it easy! You can burn out a little trying to do all the things right now. Get a task app, put reasonable chores or goals on a schedule. Try and use your brains new reward system to build healthy habits. You can actually have habits now! Crossing things off a list will actually feel amazing. When the meds effects start to chill out, you'll be able to lean into your little routine and keep getting things accomplished.

Very happy for you- that holy shit I'm functional now feeling is so awesome. DM me if you need anything! 💓

How to seal this open duct?
  • I replaced the insulation with some new stuff first, but that is exactly what I ended up doing! It didn't vent anywhere. The back of the hole backed up to what felt like tar paper. I assume the back of the siding.

What app is so useful, you can’t believe it’s free?
  • I feel like the Google maps algorithm has gotten worse over the last year or so. Maybe it's the Android auto interfacing with my car, but it sends me on weird routes sometimes even with a similar eta. I think it might be related to the eco settings but man is it annoying.

Be honest, do you still use reddit?
  • I still do, but only read a few nosleep stories on my mobile browser before bed. If I had another option for spooky stories from indie authors I would quit completely.

  • How to seal this open duct?

Found this in a cabinet under the stove. I think it's old ventilation from before the induction burner was installed. Not sure how to seal it off.
