If I post nsfw onto a community hosted on lemmynsfw, for example, from the sh.itjust.works account, would that breaking the no pron rule, or not necessarily, since it's posted on a different instance?

Does anyone actually enjoy working out?
  • I think the mindset aspect that’s true to a degree, where there’s something you just enjoy more easily. There can be something though to not being acclimated to a particular feeling since it isn’t necessarily comfortable initially, but it eventually morphs into something positive and that feeling changes. It doesn’t always happen though, I’d bet, so after some time of no change one would have to find something more naturally fitting for them.

Does anyone actually enjoy working out?
  • Yes, I love it. I feel that enjoying it comes with a few factors: knowing what you're doing is correct and maximizing each workout, and a shift in mindset that the "dread" of it doesn't actually have to be dread, which takes time to shift your head into as you get familiar. Of course, there are days where I'd rather not go, but showing up for the ritual is what matters, at that point. To get the post-workout high, you have to push yourself adequately to feel it. It doesn't have to be equal intensity of it afterward every single time, but it's a good sign that you've worked out really well.

YSK: What other instances have the most notable Lemmy instances defederated with
  • Lemmy.world hasn't defederated with beehaw, as far as I know. Beehaw has been down for a little following the lemmy.world and sh.itjust.works compromise to patch their software; that may be why you're not seeing beehaw content if you haven't been.

  • I think so. Going through an app avoids it, but on web it’s doing the same thing. Also with the lemon party redirect. I thought I was hallucinating, or something.

Jeeez, that pretty much cements my reason for moving over from them. Defederating lemmy.world and other big instances for moderation reasons was reasonable for the time being, but that sheer number overall shows the control they want over their instance, and so much is excluded as a result, a lot of it likely due to ideological misalignment.
