  • I’ve never thought to myself that the length of a razor’s handle was too long for travel

3-piece razors can be packed quite tightly – the issue is probably bigger for 2-piece or TTOs.

  • Décadi 10 Pluviôse an 233 de la Révolution, jour de Coignée

I really enjoyed The Watchman yesterday, so I repeated the experience. Mousse Illuminée somehow fits with the Watchman.

    Have a good evening!

  • And seconding another of your comments!

  • Seconding the question. We deserve details!

Wow such order (and black shoes) 😜

  • Nonidi 9 Pluviôse an 233 de la Révolution, jour du Peuplier

I took out the frio today – a surprisingly light razor, given its size, and very sharp. I should use it more regularly.

    Have a good evening!

Ishtar is on the chopping block; it clearly will not see the summer. And with the revolutionary calendar, I learn new words. Today's namesake is a highly poisoneous plant, I don't know why you would name a day after it.

    Have a good evening!

  • Obviously - it's Swiss-made 🇨🇭🇨🇭

  • Septidi 7 Pluviôse an 233 de la Révolution, jour d'Amadouvier

    • Preshave: Proraso White Preshave
    • Brush: Yaqi 28mm Synthetic Rock
    • Razor: Tedalus Essence
    • Blade: Kai Captain Titan Pink Mild (3)
    • Lather: Stirling Arcadia
    • Postshave: Naissance 702 Witch Hazel
    • Postshave: Terre d'Hermès After Shave Lotion
    • Postshave: Nivea After Shave Balm

Another AC shavette that I have much neglected last lear – the Tedalus. I bought it in times when Tedalus didn't target the billionaire class, and it is a very well-done razor, even though I am not a huge fan of their magnet-based blade clamping system.

  • Sextidi 6 Pluviôse an 233 de la Révolution, jour de Laurier-Thym

I have underused my AC shavettes; less fun than straights, but less involved for shaving as well.

  • No offense - your mug is still better than mine 🤣

  • No new job nor instrument skillz here, but: for some reason, I am subscribed to the Tatara newsletter.

This is what they have as an illustration of wetshaving. Admittedly, the model looks better than djundjila, but tell me you've never held a DE razor without telling me you never held a DE razor!

  • Tridi 3 Pluviôse an 233 de la Révolution, jour de Fragon

I felt sufficiently confident today to try my luck again with a straight razor – and I did well: no bent razor, no nicks, no irritation. And Narcisse is soo good.

    Have a good evening!

  • No gas here, only induction. But I didn't know that a small torch provides the power of the sun 💥
