And a lot of that false information about Obama birth was pushed by (wait for it…)
Donald Fucking Trump
Oh yeah, Obama straight up broke the Republican party. IMO, that’s the point where our timeline went batshit and started the rapid devolution to where we are now.
What you’re describing isn’t “homeschooling”, it’s really “distance learning” or “online schooling”. It’s still proctored by professionals and taught by credentialed teachers, and uses widely accepted curricula and content that is also taught in a regular school.
“Homeschooling” in a lot of ways leaves the teaching and day-to-day up to the parent. They only have to give benchmark tests mandated by the state to show the child is progressing every year, but what they teach the rest of the time is up to them. Which is why a lot of conservative groups like it, so they can teach their kids their version of history and leave out the parts that are uncomfortable.
And once again, the goalposts move back…
Aside from the discussion about whether the taco or burrito constitutes a sandwich, I think the judge made the correct ruling. The retail agreement says no “traditional fast food” can set up shop in that mall, and specifically cites drive thrus and outdoor seating as the reasons.
The strip mall owners probably don’t want businesses taking over common sidewalks or creating more traffic than the shared parking lot can handle. So long as they don’t have those, I don’t see any reason a Mexican food place can’t fit entirely into the leased space.
E: also based on their website this place looks bangin
By that logic, cupcakes can be multiple things depending on how you eat them.
If the cupcake is whole and frosted on top like how they’re normally served, you have toast. But if you rip off the bottom and turn it upside down and place it on the top, it is a sandwich. If you inject the frosting into the middle with a piping bag like an unemployed donut maker, it becomes a calzone.
What I’m saying is cupcakes are valid options for all meals of the day.
They make sailboat yachts too, there’s a whole show on bravo about it.
I’m American and I always get a chuckle from the adoration that people have over raccoons as well. I guess they’re cute but they’re also a menace, there’s a reason we call them “trash pandas”.
But I also went to Spain several years back and saw my first hedgehog. And it was even in a hedge! I took probably two dozen photos and the locals thought I was crazy. So I get it.
Well first off, being a man is not an immutable characteristic, because transgender people exist.
Second, the difference between the two groups you bring up isn’t relevant in this comparison, because pointing out the differences between them doesn’t negate the similarities. Both are groups with an inordinate amount of power (physical or legal) over any outgroup and are supported by cultural norms that allow them to exercise that power largely without repercussions. Both groups are also protected from consequences by others within the group, regardless if the others agree with their questionable decisions. And most importantly, both groups are human, meaning the individuals vary widely within the group along the moral spectrum. Even if most within the group are good, bad actors will always exist and there’s no way to know which one you’re dealing with at face value.
Even if it’s not a perfect comparison, it’s apt enough to support my point.
It’s also amazing how people can have this argument in one thread and then go to another thread and leave a comment that just says “ACAB”.
You don’t trust cops? Why not? Because of a few bad apples?
Sounds like you get it…
Even better, find a picture of what you want, keep it on your phone, and show it to your barber
WhatsApp is very common if anyone in your inner circle is international (as in lives in another country, not just from there). My family still uses it for our group chat bc one of my siblings used to travel a lot and live overseas, and we’re all American.
I have other friends from other countries who use WhatsApp to talk to people back home, but they also use standard messaging apps for talking to people here.
My gf’s 2020 Tuscon didn’t, and of the cars I’ve seen and window-shopped online you have to add a “smoker’s kit” as an option. They usually still have the 12VDC port for charging but it don’t come with the lil fire pop stick no more
There’s probably top secret documents floating around a lot of his golf courses….
“Caddy, go see what’s blocking the 8th hole…”
“Sir, it appears to be a bunched up partial list of CIA operatives in Egypt.”
“Well, remove it! I’m under par. Mulligan!”
All the golf courses, including Bedminster.
Are they that rare? And do they really know to keep things like this under wraps? It seems like our social filters have all gone out the window the last eight years.
She can’t spell fiancé correctly despite several attempts and having autocorrect. I think it’s entirely possible that she’s just dumb, selfish and insecure.
This stuff? Comes in 1 lb or 2 lbs logs? Maybe a different brand or packaging?
Idk what you call it but I’ve seen it at Acme now.
This is an American problem, but I discovered Amish butter a while back and haven’t looked back.
It has a slightly higher fat content closer to European butter (85% vs 80% for the regular store stuff), so everything you make tastes better. Eggs, cookies, steak, potatoes- it improves them all. I can get it fairly easy from a local co-op and it’s the same price as regular butter, but that depends on where you are in the country.
Old infographic, but still relevant…
Also, as others pointed out, bigger phones almost always have better specs overall. I used to have top notch Samsung phones specifically for the camera and battery life, bc I used my phone for site surveys.
What is this, amateur hour? big mad
