All those birds would keep things lively there! I thought the gun in the picture with the cats was a great touch. Very African safari. 😁

Awesome and hearty breakfast idea! But many adjacent questions. You have that many birds nesting on your property? Ground nesting? What kind? Are the eggs fertilized and can you still eat them if so? How did you get your cats used to the noise of the gun? Wish you were my neighbor, would love to learn several of your life skills. ☺️

This would be a fun combo for them to try. 😊 Crochet is so amazingly versatile.

It is just a slip stitch for attaching the beads. For the pattern I used jbead to figure out the color repeat. You can apparently do single crochet too but I have not tried that. This might be used for larger objects? Saw some amazing bead crochet coin purses last night that might use that. The rope is easy once you get started.

Not sure if this counts, it is not really a recipe, but I put buttermilk on my cooked oatmeal. I use the thick rolled kind, microwaved 1 to 1 oats and water, 50% for 5 minutes (so it just sort of expands but does not get creamy) then top with buttermilk and maybe dried cranberries. Might be even better to toast the oats first! Just occurred to me. Mmmmmmm.
