One of the biggest announcements was the fact that the band SashiMori returns to Splatoon 3! This band debuted in Splatoon 2!
Big Run is also getting bigger with Big Big Run (hopefully that's not the name), where you might be able to face the Triumvirate.
Only one map this season, very disappointing. It's called Lemuria Hub and it seems to resemble a train station.
Finally, you might want to know that we are FINALLY getting a new Stringer (called the Wellstring V) and a new Splatana (called the Mint Decavitator).

Throughout today, the Curling Hurl will be taking place! In this #challenge, your objective is to toss out jumbo sized Curling Bombs. The rules for this challenge are that you can only use weapons with Curling Bomb and that Curling Bombs will be enlarged and deal more damage.
For this rotation, the mode is Splat Zones and the maps will be Hammerhead Bridge and Wahoo World.

If you've wanted to post some inkredible drawings to the plaza, you might have noticed that you can't because you don't have a #Twitter account.
This is now changing from June 11th @ 1am BST, where you will be officially able to post to the plaza again as the sharing function will instead go directly to Nintendo servers!
\#Splatoon2 is also affected by the change, and it looks like plaza posts will become unavailable after June 11th. The only other game that seems to be affected is the Smash World section in the NSO app for #SuperSmashBrosUltimate.

Since the 19th of April, various Nintendo Switch games including Splatoon 3 have been on sale in Japan!
Right now, Splatoon 3 is 30% off on the Japanese eShop, going from 6500¥ to 4550¥ as part of a sale (not confident in the translation of the sales name, sorry). With purchasing the game, it also looks like you'll be able to grab Nintendo Switch Online for free for 3 months.
The sale ends on Tuesday at 12am JST (Monday @ 4pm BST conversion).

If you've been browsing the internet, there's a select few which have kept their consoles on to play Splatoon 1 until the absolute end.
The last ever rotation generated by Nintendo servers started 40 minutes ago and will end at 11pm GMT. From what I've heard, Pretendo is also using this system and will switch rotation systems from 11pm.
