I tried really hard to like it, but when I found myself starting to two thumb type instead of swiping, I had to remove it. I don't even use my phone that much, but when I send a text I need to not have to fight my phone to write the words I'm trying to write.

They are one entity.

I'm in my 40s and we have this one. My wife loves it.

I've been slowly trying to de-google my Pixel 6 pro. Thinking about Graphene.

I use Google Photos to share kid pictures with the grandparents but I've been trying to migrate to Ente. Google checkout makes it a pain to export your pictures in bulk and load them into something else. I think I found a Python script that did the last batch but I forget the specifics.

My wife and I track each other on Maps but that's not a deal breaker, just nice to see when the other is in transit to time dinner and things.

After that it's just some banking apps, bitwarden, 2fa, etc which should work fine.

It just feels like a big leap.

Just finished Eversion by Alistair Reynolds and started Century Rain by him. I love his work but haven't read these.

I went into both relatively blind and don't regret it.

I always scoff at how cheesy Scalzi's book synopses sound but then I burn through them in a day or two. Starter Villain especially.

I just got into a Violent Femmes kick too. I only ever owned this album and Hallowed Ground. I should try some of their more recent stuff.

Every game doesn't have to appeal to everyone. There are certain art styles that appeal to me and certain ones that don't. I'm not gonna knock anyone that likes furry or anime art styles, but they're just not my jam.

I had the exact same reaction to both games. I wanted to like them both but the furry stuff just killed my interest in them.

The swiping is miles behind gboard right now. Takes me forever to type using it because I have to go back and correct or swipe far more precisely than I had to with gboard.

What I've found is that what works bet for your preferences and build is best. When I had an Nvidia card, Pop!_OS worked best for stable performance. I'm not a fan of Gnome though and it got me to upgrade to an AMD card and I've moved to Bazzite with no regrets.

The Boomer Kuwanger theme is a banger. This might be my favorite version though.

I played through it originally years ago and remember it being sad but it kind of fell out of my head. I played it again few years ago after acquiring a bonus kid and having a baby, both the intro and the ending were gut punches.

Was Thermal Transfer always granting an extra turn? I remember being confused by it because it felt inconsistent and didn't seem to match the wording. Maybe I just wasn't paying super close attention.

I think I was mostly using her to set fires to the up Miele to get back into that 200% damage stance.

I did not expect to be moved by the story though.

Kevin Mitnick's book is full of this.

I tried a pair of the Duluth Buck Naked with the bullpen and the seam started coming apart in the ball pouch after one wash. My regular Buck nakeds last 5 years or more until the elastic starts giving out. That's far longer than any other kind I've found.

It's not as easy to find, but I love birch beer.
