Or all the Hamas terrorists working for the UN.
This seems hardly like a recurring theme. But clearly seems legal under british law.
Seems like she can and should be tried in Syria.
The Daily Telegraph reported that Begum had developed a reputation as an enforcer amongst other members of IS and had tried to recruit other young women to join the group.
I’m having a hard time working up any sympathy honestly.
She’s a citizen of the caliphate or whatever now?
Indeed not because it’s a shitpost sub; it’s Neapolitan not Napoleon, Neapolitan meaning of Naples, Italy, they could have also used a Mille Feuille which we call a Napoleon in the US that he also didn’t have anything to do with except they were popular in fancy shops during his reign.
Not for nothing, it doesn’t sound so successful.
Working with people is a very core skill. You suggest that this came out of the blue - but I would bet that there were a lot of missed signals on the way. Escalating straight to verbal warnings and demotion in role or responsibility means you’re missing something very fundamental in what wasn’t working or was missed.
Should this link somewhere?
How could Intel gatekeep a standard that’s fairly open?
Delta flight attendants are non-union. They’ve also had industry leading pay for… forever. Delta pilots are union and also have industry leading pay.
The only thing a little ironic is that delta FAs are the best-paid of any US airline.
Their deal is literally better than all the union deals - and the unions were scrambling to match.
Yes, but it won’t be zero. People are killed without guns, just less frequently.
Some people currently killed by guns will be killed by something else. It’s not 100% of them and it’s not 0% of them.
I think we’re saying the same thing? Hitting someone with a candle stick or a wine bottle in the head can also kill them.
They would kill them with something that is not-a-gun.
That being said, I do believe a lot fewer people would get murdered if there were no guns. But it wouldn’t be 0.
That’s crazy. And definitely not the norm, even outside of big tech.
I’ve been in 4 startups, no one was making that little money even 20 years ago.
Probably fall into the working poor category.
But I don’t know anyone making minimum wage doing UX.
Middle class people are not working poor. Creatives are sometimes working poor, and other times are making $250k as UX designers.
They should name and shame.
It’s mid-deep dish, so crispy on the bottom/sides and a little chewy in the middle.
I’m a New Yorker so I also have a preference for pizza that is foldable, but the bottom is crispy enough that it cracks when you fold it, but Detroit pizza is good. They use cupping pepperoni, like Buffalo, which I think is superior to the pepperoni we use broadly in NYC.
Oh, huh - thanks for the source and being correct!
What did we sell them last time?
This is my fave:
Paul Gruber, Warehouse Manager “America is not a racist country, but a federation of racist states.”
Detroit pizza is pretty good. It’s more or less a hybrid between Chicago and New York that matches the geographic location, same with Buffalo.
